Wake Me Up When September Ends en anuncio para donación militar.

El grupo Wootton Bassett Rocks ha usado esta canción del álbum de American Idiot para reunir dinero para conseguir suministros para soportar a los militares de Londres, muchos de los cuales dieron la vida por su país.
